CSA Mission Statement

“Our mission is to become Colorado’s premier private team in competitive swimming.”

Goals

• Provide comprehensive lessons leading towards competitive swimming.
• Provide an elite level swim team for USA competitive swimmers.
• Foster a positive attitude toward the sport of swimming and other teams within the sport.   

History 

Colorado Swim Academy opened its doors to the public on August 11, 2003 as part of a project to research swimming and to provide quality swimmers into the local swim team.  It had a humble beginning, with just 3 swimmers.  As word got out, the numbers swelled to 20, mostly younger brothers and sisters of current swim team members who’s parents were concerned about them falling in during practice (a concern that was realized three times).

On April 15, 2005, CSA took the next step, creating its own swim team of various level swimmers and abilities.  The CSA Sharks are rapidly expanding to provide its swimmers with the best opportunity for success in the sport of swimming.

 In November of 2009, CSA moved to its permanent home at LifeTime Fitness Club. With access to three pools, CSA has quickly grown in numbers and success.
